Your semester grades have been uploaded already. You can find that in the google drive.

Some of you have done exceptionally well and some missed out. People who did relatively bad, well don't be disheartened. This is not the end of .the world. Whatever grade you got is slightly more than or equal to what you actually deserve.

Remember, your CGPA is just a number. What matters the most is what you have in your head and what you can actually do. So learn as much as you can and success will come to you in time.  Best of luck and happy learning :)

Confirmation email

I am sending a confirmation email to everyone who has submitted the assignment/case study through email. If you haven't received any confirmation email then please resend your assignment.

Update regarding assignments and grades

Well guys for better or for worse, this is the end of the semester. As you already know that the semester final will not be held, instead we are going to increase the percentage of first two midterms, quizzes and assignment to calculate your overall grade.

The last date for assignment submission is by  18th of this month.

You have to email me your group assignment at maximrahman@mail.ewu.edu by midnight of 18th December. Assignment submitted after the due date will result in a deduction of 2 points and the penalty will increase for every additional day of delay. You can submit your assignment anytime before the due date starting from tonight.

Make sure to mention the course name and section number in the subject of your email. You don't have to provide me any hard copy so the email submission is all that you need to do.

Regarding your grades which I've already explained several times in the class that I will go for relative grading. It means your grade will depend on your overall position in the class. I will try to do the grading leniently.

It was a lovely experience teaching you all and also a memorable one since this is the first time I am teaching in Bangladesh. Couldn't actually teach you as much as I would've liked to in this semester due to the political unrest but I hope you guys still managed to pick-up few interesting ideas from the lectures.  Hope to see you  around in the coming few semesters.

Due to the 48 hour blockade called by the opposition party, no classes will be held for next two days (26/11 and 27/11). Enjoy the vacation and be prepared to attend lectures in coming weekends ....:D

Update on midterm 2 and quiz grades

Midterm 2 (Bus 101 sec 14) and quiz grades (Fin 201, Mgt 251 and Bus 101 sec 14) have been posted infront of my room (Room #441). You can also find the soft copies in this blog.

Notice for make-up classes

Bus 101 (Sec-14): As per the university announcement, you are going to have a makeup class on this coming Saturday (16/11/2013). So you are going to have your midterm on that date.

MGT 251: There will be a makeup class on this thursday (14/11/2013). Room-406. Time- 10.10 am-11.40 am. This is the last class before your second midterm so make sure to attend the lecture.

Bus 101 (sec-6): There will be a makeup class on this thursday (14/11/2013). Room-406. Time- 11.50 am-1:20 pm. This is the last class before your second midterm so make sure to attend the lecture.

Fin 201: There will be a makeup class on this thursday (14/11/2013). Room-406. Time- 1.30 pm-3.00 pm. This is the last class before your second midterm so make sure to attend the lecture.

Bus-101 (sec 14) make up class

There will be a makeup class on this Thursday (7/11/2013), same room (801) and same time (10.10 am) as our regular classes.  This will be our last class before the second midterm so make sure to attend the lecture. Inform your friends about the makeup class. Hope to see you all there.

Mid term 1 grades have been posted

Your midterm 1 grades have been posted in front of my room (435). You can also find the softcopy of it here on this blog. Just go to your course folder and among all other course materials you will find the grades. Its been converted into 20. Grades of Bus 101-sec 14 hasn't been uploaded yet. You guys have seen your papers already. My TA is preparing the grade-sheets. as soon as she is done with it I will upload it here and post it in front of my room.

People who got less than 12 out of 20, make sure to see me at the office. I need to have a chat with you guys and figure out how you can improve in the next midterm and final. People who got 16 or above, best of luck and try to maintain this performance in the coming exams.

Class cancellation notice

There will be no class on 22nd and 23rd October. Make up classes will be announced later.

Eid Mubarak guys

Enjoy the vacation and have a great time with your friends and family. And don't worry too much about your mid term results, specially the fin 201 students :)   some of you did excellent and some not so but regardless of whether you managed to solve the problems, i pretty much gave a decent enough mark for your effort. So it wasn't as bad as you think it was :) We will have a detail discussion about the midterm on our first class after eid. See you soon and stay safe. peace
